Despite the health-focused name, the facility does not provide medical services. It is not a hospital, cardiology center, urgent-care clinic, or wellness treatment facility.
Today, the open-air venue supports many types of public events. These include professional soccer, concerts, festivals, cultural celebrations, and community activities.

Heart Health Park and Sacramento Republic FC
One of the venue’s strongest connections is with Sacramento Republic FC.
The professional soccer club has used the stadium as its home venue since the facility opened. The relationship has helped make the site an important part of Sacramento’s professional soccer community.
The team’s 2026 schedule continues to include home matches at the stadium.
For soccer fans, attending a Republic FC match can offer a lively outdoor experience. Supporters gather around the field, while food, merchandise, and match-day activities add to the atmosphere.
The venue has also hosted important moments in the club’s history. In March 2026, Republic FC opened its season at home against FC Tulsa and won 2–0 in front of a sold-out crowd.
Because the schedule can change, fans should check the team’s current schedule before making travel plans.
What Should Visitors Expect?
Your experience will depend on the event you attend.
A soccer match usually focuses on the field, seating, supporters, concessions, and match-day activities. A concert may have different entrances, security procedures, seating arrangements, and schedules.
Festivals and community events can have their own rules as well.
Before attending, review the information provided by the event organizer. This can help you understand where to enter, where to park, and what you can bring.
Seating
The venue offers general seating and VIP areas. Cal Expo describes the facility as having approximately 14,500 seats and a digital video board.
The seating arrangement may change for different events. Some concerts or special events may use the field area differently from soccer matches.
Check your ticket and the event information for the most accurate seating details.
Food and Concessions
Food and beverage services are available during events.
The available choices can change depending on the event, organizer, and venue setup.
If you have food allergies or dietary needs, check the event information before attending. You may also want to confirm whether outside food or drinks are allowed.
Accessibility
Cal Expo provides accessible parking spaces near admission gates.
Visitors who need accessible seating, parking, or other services should review the latest venue and event information before arrival.
Accessibility arrangements can differ between events. Checking ahead can help avoid problems on the day of your visit.
Bag Policy and Security Rules
The venue uses a clear bag policy to help make security screening faster.
According to Cal Expo, permitted clear bags can include clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags measuring no more than 12 × 12 × 2 inches.
A one-gallon clear plastic bag may also be permitted. Small clutches are another listed option.
Clear, empty hydration packs within the stated size limits may also be allowed.
Security rules can change based on the event. A concert, soccer match, or festival may have additional requirements.
For that reason, check the latest venue and event instructions before packing your bag.
Following the rules can make entry easier for you and other visitors.
Is It a Medical Facility?
No.
This is an important point for anyone searching for the venue online.
The name may sound medical, but this location is not a hospital, cardiology clinic, urgent-care center, or heart treatment facility.
Its name came from a partnership connected with community health and wellness. The actual facility is used for sports, entertainment, and public events.
If you are searching for treatment for chest pain, breathing problems, heart symptoms, or another health concern, this is not the place to seek medical care.
For serious or potentially life-threatening symptoms, seek appropriate emergency medical help.
How Does the Venue Support Community Wellness?
Although the facility does not provide healthcare, its name has a connection with community wellness.
When the venue received its current name in 2021, Sacramento Republic FC and Western Health Advantage described the partnership as a way to support community health and well-being.
The location has also been used for fitness-related community activities.
For example, Republic FC and Western Health Advantage announced a public workout series in 2021. The program encouraged community members to make physical activity part of their lives.
This shows how a sports venue can promote healthy living without operating as a healthcare center.
Regular physical activity can support overall fitness and cardiovascular health. However, the right level of activity can vary from person to person.
Anyone with a known heart condition or concerning symptoms should speak with a qualified healthcare professional about safe exercise.
